Donald is an Earth duck who meets an alien civilization while dive fishing and falls in love with their queen. He seems to have a "sixth sense" when it comes to Reginella, knowing when she needs him. Despite having an at-times cowardly nature, he is able to show his courageous side when needed.
Reginella is the sweet and romantic queen of Planet Pacificus and Donald's love interest throughout the saga. Loved by Donald and her people alike, she has to often sacrifice her personal happiness for the sake of duty, which is a difficult choice for her. For more info, read our dedicated Reginella page!
Earthlings
Huey, Dewey and Louie are Donald's nephews. They are unaware of Donald's and Reginella's relationship, as the only time they meet her is when they travel to Pacificus with Uncle Scrooge, and are told not to mention her to Donald. Despite this, the three are recurring in the saga, and are shown to care and worry about their uncle.
Uncle Scrooge is Donald's uncle and the first duck to know about Reginella. Despite being grumpy at times, he acts supportive to Donald: financing his trips to Pacificus, choosing not to meddle after discovering Donald and Reginella had forgotten each other, and finally, acting as a key factor for their final reconciliation.
Elvira (Grandma Duck) is Donald's grandmother. She visits Pacificus to learn about the cuisine, and meets Reginella while helping the sick Crapulongo. After learning the whole story from Scrooge, she advices him to tell Donald the truth.
Fethry is Donald's eccentric cousin. He takes Gyro's spaceship and impulsively sends them both to Pacificus, where they help Reginella recover the Smile Mirror. Fethry is indirectly the reason Reginella starts seeking the truth after he accidentally leaves a photo of himself and Donald behind.
Daisy is Donald's girlfriend. It is unknown what their relationship was like for most of the saga, as she only made her appearance in the final story, but they currently seem to be on good terms. She is unaware of Reginella's existence.
Pacificus
Primo Cerusico (lit. First Surgeon) is Reginella's personal physician. He is loyal to the queen, but is also deeply concerned with wellbeing of the people of Pacificus, and for this reason he tries to make sure her bond with Donald is broken, despite feeling remorseful. He ages significantly during the saga due to his journey to Earth.
Consigliere (lit. Counselour) is the royal counselour of Pacificus, as well as a close friend of Primo Cerusico. A wise individual, he gives advice to the queen and to his friend, and seems to be knowdgeable on myths, such as the Smile Mirror.
Gertrude used to be Reginella's nanny, and was known for her talent for reading bedtime stories. They meet again while Reginella is looking for a cure for the sick Crapulongo, and the queen invites her to become the new palace cook.
Antagonists
Bingo the Perfidious is a conqueror who invades and enslaves Pacificus during the queen's absence, and upon Reginella's return, tries to force her into marrying him.
Vampirione is the greedy and voracious king of planet Vampiro. As part of an invasion plan, he steals Pacificus' resources in hopes of weakening the people, and challenges Donald to a duel for the dominance over the planet.
Orbiton is the royal great advisor of Pacificus, who plans to depose Reginella and take the throne for himself. His plan is to trap Reginella and Primo Cerusico on Earth and send the queen to another time period.
Secondo Cerusico (lit. Second Surgeon) is Primo Cerusico's assistant. He seems to have a crush on Reginella, but conspires with Orbiton so he can take his superior's place, tampering with the queen's out-of-time chronograph for this goal.
Zayork is the king of planet Sovranis. He is a trophy collector who has plans to start collecting people, and wants the crystals of Pacificus to perfect his freezing ray.
Marinette is Reginella's aunt. Nothing is known about her past, and Reginella hadn't seen her in years. She initially acts friendly, but in reality, wants to take her niece's throne, attempting to poison her with indigestion berries that were eaten by the Crapulongo.
